Conditioning Modules
One of the major features of the M1000 concept is its compatiblity
with any input signal. A wide range of signal conditioners and data
amplifiers is available to match all conventional types of transducer
or signal source. In addition, a large library of special modules
has been developed for non-standard parameters.
Standard modules include the following:
M1020 Designers module.
Empty module complete with grid pattern printed circuit card. connector
and blank front panel for customer designed special’ circuits.
M1036 Transient Capture Module.
Digital waveform storage/replay module ~vith variable sampling
rate and trigger level.
M1043 Synchro/DC Converter.
Produces a D.C. output signal proportional to synchro or resolver
angular position. Applications include radar scanner position, C.N.C
machine tool positional control, gyros arid aircraft and marine
use.
M1049 Carrier Module.
Self contained single channel carrier system (Oscillator/AmplifierDemodulator/Filter),
for use with variable reluctance transducers. differential transformers,
L.V.D.T’s etc. Separately adjustable buffered volliqe and current
oulputs.
M1060 High Gain D.C. Amplifier.
Differential amplifier for use with most types of low-level transducer,
e.g. strain gauge transducers. load cells etc.
Separately adjustable buffered voltage and current outputs.
M1061 Thermocouple Amplifier.
For use with thermocouples and similar low-level devices. Full scale
output for lmV to lOOmV input. Separately adjustable buttered voltage
and current outputs.
M1061/R Reference Connector.
Cold-junction module built into special connector to use witti
M1061.
M1070 Attenuator/Amplifier.
General purpose unit for medium to high level inputs, e.g.
potentiometric transducers, D.C/D.C. L.V.D.T’s, servo accelerometers,
tape replay amplifiers, etc. Separately adjustable buffered voltage
dnd current outputs.
Output Conditioning (M1000-24 only)
The output conditioning section accepts a range of plug-in high
level post-conditioning cards. In addition to the standard cards
shown below a large library of specials’ has been developed.
