With the aid of Micro Movements, DriveLine has recently developed an automated test system for ZF Ecomat automatic transmissions. The system is fully integrated utilising the M1000 Signal Conditioning unit with Quatech data acquisition cards and Snap- Master software. The system not only records the critical parameters but also controls the main gearbox drive which is situated in an remote acoustically insulated test cell. The development is unique amongst gearbox and transmission dealers or service agents and we understand even ZF themselves have nothing quite as comprehensive.
